MARCOPOLO DELIVERS NEW COACHS TO CATEDRAL TURISMO
Two units will be used in the tour of singer Gustavo Lima and the duo João Bosco and Vinícius

Marcopolo delivered, In October, ten new coachs to Catedral Turismo, in Brasília. The vehicles – 12 units of the Paradiso Double Decker 1800 model and seven of the Paradiso Low Driver 1600 model (lower driver cabin position) – will be used for tourism and charters, as well as intercity and interstate bus lines.
A leading transportation company in Brazil's central-west region, Catedral Turismo, besides catering to the charter and tourism segment, provides vehicles for the tours of many Brazilian singers, such as Gustavo Lima and the duo João Bosco and Vinícius. For this purpose, it purchased two Paradiso 1800 Double Decker coachs, with a unique configuration to provide even greater comfort, safety and ergonomics, as well as a modern finish and embedded technology.
An outstanding feature of the Paradiso models is passenger comfort. The seats, designed with special foam (visco elastic) in the head and neck regions, are equipped with leg and footrests with a ratchet system for adjusting their position according to the user's height, in addition to wider and softer armrests. They also come with an activation system for reclining the seat in five different positions that is smoother and more practical.
The Paradiso 1800 DD and 1600 LD models feature a bold design, with panoramic side and front windows, which expand driver and passenger visibility. Inside, the passenger cabin of the vehicles has a LED lighting system, with indirect lights, that create a comfortable and sophisticated environment. LEDs can also be found in the touch-activated reading lamps, individual air-conditioning outlets, headphone plug and volume control. The individual audio amplifiers are integrated into the panel.
The driver's cabin has a panel with retractable satellites, which contains all the instruments, such as a reverse camera display, inside cameras and a multiplex system (combined functions of all the equipment of the bus). It also has repositioned air vents and a more efficient ventilation system, storage compartments behind the seat and touch-activated individual lighting for the driver and assistant driver.
Founded in 1985, Catedral Turismo is a company that specializes in tourist transport and charters. It also operates lines in the North and Northeast of Brazil and provides special demand-responsive transport and city tour services.
