MARCOPOLO DELIVERS PARADISO 1200 TO STOCK CAR BRASIL CHAMPIONS

Vehicle to be used to transport a great team in competitions in Brazil and Latin America

Marcopolo, one of the largest bus body builders in the world, delivers in the next few days one Paradiso 1200 bus, especially developed to A. Mattheis Motorsports team. The vehicle will be used to transport the staff of the teams Red Bull Racing and Shell Racing in competitions in Brazil and Latin America.

Considered ideal for transportation in mid and long distance travels, Paradiso 1200 model, with Scania K 340 4x2 chassis, has low operational cost and extreme robustness, and prioritizes comfort and safety for the passengers. The model sports a bold design, featuring LED highlighting head and taillights.

Paradiso 1200 G7 has pantographic door with automatic air lock and for boarding and alighting, partition wall with sliding door, multiplex system and e greater internal height (1.93m). The model also features washroom, retractable seat belts, cup holders, magazine racks, air-conditioning system with individual vents, bonded tinted windows, refrigerator and living room, with two sofas, at the rear of the vehicle.

Paradiso 1200 has 32 wider semi-bed seats (1.060mm), with footrests made with viscoelastic foam, which adapts to the passenger's body, providing extra comfort. The sound and lighting system features a CD radio with USB e MP3 input, DVD player,  three 15.4-inch LCD monitors, and parcel rack with LED lights.

Andreas Mattheis is one of the Brazilian motor racing's most successful team leaders. After winning a sizable number of awards as a racer, he began to accumulate triumphs  also as technical director and team leader. Four-time Stock Car champion and two-time GT3 Brasil champion, he also won the Mil Milhas Brasileiras race in 2003 e 2005, the Brazilian Endurance Championship in 2004, and the Corrida do Milhão (Million Race) in 2008.

A. Mattheis Motorsports' headquarters is in Petrópolis (Rio de Janeiro State), where it manages cars for Shell Racing (Alceu Feldmann and Valdeno Brito) and Red Bull Racing (Cacá Bueno and Daniel Serra) for the Stock Car championship, in addition to the Lamborghini Gallardo and Mercedes-Benz SLS models, which compete in the GT3 Brasil championship. With over 20 years of existence, the team is assembled in an area with over 1,500 square meters, and has over 40 employees dedicated to the competitions.
