MARCOPOLO PROVIDES COACHES TO NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAMS THAT WILL PLAY AMERICA CUP IN 2011

Paradiso 1800 Double Decker has been chosen to be driven through the Championship

Marcopolo has just supplied coaches to football national teams that will play America Cup Championship 2011, which will be held from July 1st up to 24th, in Argentina. There are 15 vehicles purchased from Flecha Bus Fleet, who is a traditional customer of Marcopolo, coaches Paradiso 1800 Double Decker.

Mr. Paulo Andrade, Commercial Operation Director from Americas, says that purchase shows the power of Marcopolo Presence in the market, included over Latin America, and great company partnership with South American Football Confederation. “It is the third time that Marcopolo is chosen to supply coaches to the Championship, which proves the excellent reputation and comfort standards, sophistication and quality of our products. We have already delivered more than 130 coaches, that carried players and delegations, as well as, some fans, explains the Mr. Executive.

Paradiso 1800 DD is made with the most advanced standards and international concepts and it is higher interior from both floors among Mercosur coaches. It has a capacity to carry 46 semi sleep seats on the upper floor and 12 seats on the lower floor, it has an audio and video system, TV monitors, air conditioning, heating and sanitary features.

About America Cup

It has been played since 1916, America Cup is the oldest Championship in the World. In 2011, the Championship will take place in Argentina and it will count with 12 National Football Teams. Since 1993, besides ten Southern Countries form Latin America, more two Teams join the Championship as guests.
