Center offers exclusive health service for Marcopolo employees benefiting nearly 6,400 people
Caxias do Sul (RS), June 10, 2013 - The MarcoSaúde (MarcoHealth) model of shared management on health released by Marcopolo in 2012, completed a year of consolidation and already achieved the standard of excellence for the distinguished service to the company's employees, their families and retired former employees. Having a partnership with the Fátima Saúde (Health Plan) and specially tailored for the company, MarcoSaúde started with coverage of about 2,800 lives and in one year it increased to nearly 6,400, with a growth of over 120%.
To Osmar Piola, Human Resources Manager at Marcopolo, the MarcoSaúde created a new standard of care; it offers plans specially designed for employees and their families, plus it provides the security and convenience of having a personalized service in only one center.
The Health Reference Center, located in Caxias do Sul, offers 13 specialties on site, and prompt services from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. In addition to that, in the nursery of industrial units in Caxias do Sul, care services are offered in Occupational Medicine, General Medicine, Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Psychology, Nutrition, Physical Therapy, Nursing and Emergency Care. In the rest of the country, the service is done through the network ABRAMGE (Brazilian Association of Medical Group).
The MarcoSaúde has accredited doctors and services in over 50 specialties. "The growth of coverage recorded in these first 12 months is a reflection of the hard work and dedication in managing this new model of health program and also to the high quality team of doctors and hospitals," explains Paulo Lobato, coordinator of the Health Area of Marcopolo.
The MarcoSaúde offers users a Health Reference Center that brings together various specialties together to facilitate and make an even faster and more efficient care service. Focusing on prevention, it is possible to make appointments with insured physicians, besides the specialties available at the Center itself, highlighting the Pediatric and Women's Clinic. Emergency and minor surgical procedures are also offered at the MarcoSaúde Center. This innovative service provides special treatment to beneficiaries in a more humane and comprehensive manner for all their health needs.
