PAULO CEZAR NUNES IS THE NEW ELECTED PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF MARCOPOLO S.A.

Paulo Cezar da Silva Nunes has been appointed for the presidency of the Board of Directors of Marcopolo SA, one of the world leading companies in the production of bus bodies.

The indication was in line with the process of professionalization of the management and the company's leadership, which has started about 15 years ago. The executive replaces Mauro Gilberto Bellini that has been in the Board since 2008, first as member, then he became a counselor and then he was promoted to vice president and president.

Mr. Paulo Nunes has a degree in Business Administration from Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (UNISINOS) University. The executive has been an independent member of the Board of Directors since March 2012. He is also part of the HR and Ethics Committee. 

With over 40 years of experience in the automotive industry, especially in the organizational intelligence area, Mr. Nunes has occupied leadership positions in companies such as Massey Ferguson, Racine Hydraulics, Albarus S.A. and Dana Indústrias Ltda., where he was the vice president. He was also a board member of Sindipeças (National Union of Automobile Component Industries) until 2012.

He is also graduated in the following programs: Executive Development Program of University of Michigan Business School from 1999 to 2000; Corporate Finance Development Program from FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas) in 2001; International Business Development in 2002; TPS - Lean Manufacturing Toyota in 2007 and in 2012 he completed the studies for Board Member given by the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance - IBGC.

After eight years in the Board of Directors of Marcopolo, Mauro Bellini will remain in the company, where he will follow up the company's performance through the Holding Davos and the control group. He will still be an active member of the Executive Committee and the Strategy and Innovation Committee as well as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco Moneo Bank.
